April Dinner Club changes
I have to work Saturday night, so I need to change the plans for the Dinner Club. Here are the options, vote for whichever works best for you and I will make a decision by Noon on Friday. If it is a go one way or the other, then it will be at the same location Red Robin in Mt.Juliet.
1. Friday @ 6;00 or 7:00
2. Saturday @ 2:00 and we will have to bo gone by 3:30 to make it down town in time to park and get into work. With the Music City Marathon going on it's going to be crazy, so they want us there by 4:00.
3. Cancel totally and just start planning big time for the picnic on Sat. May 2nd. If we do go with #3, I will post more details on the picnic on Monday the 27th.
I hope everyone is doing good. The Parker's are doing pretty good for a change. We are just going to doctors appointments/theraphy and staying busy and gettin pumped up for the Walk from Obesity that is coming up on Sat. Sept. 19th @ Centennial Park, so mark your calendars for that day and come out and walk with us, or if you are not or don't want to walk, are going to be needing several volunteers from about 8:00-12:00 on that day, give or take a little.
We are off to Jackson, TN today, we have been following the Titan's Caravan that has been travleing around town the past couple of weeks. We have been to Hunstville, AL and to Paduch, KY, just about all of them. Tomorrow they are going to be at O'Charley's in Dickson, so that will be a short drive compared to some of these. They have a different player at each stop, their announcer Mike Keith is with them, T-Rac and some of the stops have had some of the cheerleaders. You can get autographs of everyone and or have your picture taken with them. This is the last week for it, the final stop will be on base in Fort Campbell, KY, this one is not open to the public, it is just for the base. During these stops they are also, going to differnet schools and those have only been open for the schools. Ok sorry to ramble on, just thought some might want to know about this. We are out the door to Jackson we have to be there @ 5:30 at the Sportsplex there. I hope everyone is having a awesome day and are able to get out and enjoy this wonderful sunshine.
Love Ya'll,
Cheryl

It is so good to see you posting, Cheryl!!! I am not going to vote on the dinner club, cause I/we probably wouldn't be able to make it anytime this next weekend. BUT I am looking forward to the picnic, and seeing you all again!
So.. by the time you all are finished with the Caravan will you have everyone's autrograph? Ya'll are amazing and dedicated!!! I can't even be a good enough fan to know when/who they are playing...

Thanks Amy, final decision will be made on Friday morn. As far as the Caravan, they only had one or two at each location, so not yet do we have them all, but we hope to by the end of this season. We had to miss the one yesterday, we was heading to Jackson and got to the Kingston Springs exit, when we heard this awful noise coming from under the hood. We stop and Phil got out and checked things out, our serpentine(sp) belt had shredded. We have AAA so we called them, so we waited for the tow truck to come. The whole time we was waiting I was telling Phil that I hoped that it was just the normal size wrecker.......well it wasn't, it was one of those big wreckers with the flatbed on it. They got the van loaded and I started trying to get in the cab...........well of course I couldn't, I could get my feet on the step, but the wrecker was so big I could not get up in it. I think I could have pulled myself on up, if it had not been for my arm.....heck I just got out of my sling a couple of days ago. So anyway, AAA called a cab for me and Phil and we followed the wrecker to a Autozone. Phil went in got the part and after a couple of hours and a few "choice" words he got everything fixed. So to sum things up we spent over 4 fours broke down frustrated, the cab cost $43 dollars, the tow cost us $55 and the part only cost $29........go figure. Not such a good day for the Parker's for sure. We was suppose to go down to Dickson today for the final Caravan stop, and we just decided to stay home all day and rest and stay off the road....lol
I thought I had really messed up my shoulder, last night it was hurting really bad and I had to take quite a bit of meds to get it under control. I was going to get up this morning and call the doctor, but it was better and is still getting better, so I think it's ok. Hope all is well with you and little man and can't wait to see ya'll at the picnic. Thanks for offering to help out, if I need anything I will give you a hollar.
